Louisville football’s spring game will be at 6 p.m. Friday, one hour earlier than the original 7 p.m. kickoff, the program announced on Tuesday afternoon.

The time was moved up “to help maximize the daylight and enhance the overall fan experience for the annual spring contest,” according to the press release.

Since Jeff Brohm’s return to Louisville, the game has coincided with Thunder Over Louisville, which was canceled due to unprecedented flooding levels. The game, however, will still take place. Parking lots open at 1 p.m. with the gates expected to open at 5 p.m.

The first 2,500 fans will receive spring game posters, which will be available at the gate.
