WNBA Team Releases Rookie on Monday After Playing Two Games originally appeared on Athlon Sports.
WNBA teams across the league have been making changes to their roster, especially with the finale of a recent overseas tournament.
Several regular players had overseas commitments during the season, parting them from their team for a number of games.
The Golden State Valkyries, who are currently playing in their first season as a WNBA franchise, were awaiting the return of Cecilia Zandalasini and Janelle Salaun.
On Monday, both players were announced as active after participating in the FIBA Women’s EuroBasket 2025.
After the two were back in the lineup, the Valkyries announced the release of rookie Bree Hall, who played two games with the team.
“Roster Update: The Golden State Valkyries have waived guard Bree Hall,” posted the official social media of the Golden State Valkyries. “Thank you, Bree.”
