Wisconsin football makes final schools for 2026 linebacker Mason Marden

Wisconsin football made class of 2026 linebacker Mason Marden’s group of finalists on Monday afternoon.

The Badgers were listed along with Michigan State, Arizona State, Oklahoma and Kansas. With those top contenders finalized, Marden still has yet to announce a specific decision date.

247Sports currently lists the St. Louis, Missouri, native as a three-star recruit, ranked specifically as the No. 84 linebacker in the class of 2026 and No. 10 player from his home state. His busy upcoming month of June includes official visits to Michigan State on May 30, Kansas on June 6 and Wisconsin on June 13. The linebacker already wrapped up a trip to Arizona State and has yet to schedule one to Oklahoma, according to 247Sports.

Wisconsin’s class of 2026 currently ranks No. 43 in the nation with six players committed. Two of those commitments are on the defensive side of the football: three-star defensive lineman Carmelow Reed and three-star cornerback Carsen Eloms. As of May 6, the group has yet to add a linebacker.
