NORMAN — In late April, OU softball swept Texas in a three-game series at Love’s Field.
Now, the Sooners and Longhorns will face off in the Women’s College World Series.
OU will take on Texas at 2 p.m. Saturday at Devon Park on ABC.
The Longhorns knocked off Florida 3-0 Thursday, while Ella Parker’s three-run walk-off home run gave the Sooners a 4-3 edge over Tennessee.
The four-time defending WCWS champion Sooners are in the WCWS for the ninth consecutive time — the second-longest streak of all-time behind Arizona’s record 16 consecutive appearances from 1988-2003.
