Barcelona wonderkid Lamine Yamal officially became an adult on July 13, celebrating his 18th birthday in style. 

Now, according to a report from Victor Navarro, Barcelona manager Hansi Flick had no problem with the youngster throwing a big party. 

In fact, Flick understood the importance of the moment, knowing that turning 18 is a special milestone, especially when you are one of the most promising footballers in the world.

The celebration came on Saturday night, just before a successful day of medical tests for the Barcelona squad on Sunday. 

Once the players completed their check-ups, Flick made his expectations clear that “From Monday onwards, celebrations are over.”

Committed despite an all-night party

Yamal’s party was not just a quiet dinner; it was a proper celebration. The event took place in Barcelona and was packed with over 200 guests, including friends, family, teammates, and celebrities from around the world. 

Popular content creators like The Buyer Brothers, TheGrefg, alongside SofiG, IlloJuan, and IShowSpeed were all in attendance. For privacy reasons, guests were asked not to use their mobile phones during the event.

Some of Yamal’s Barça teammates left the party early, around 1 AM, while others stayed until much later. Yamal himself partied through the night but showed real professionalism the next morning. 

After celebrating, he was taken straight to the club’s training centre, where he arrived at 9:00 a.m., ready to continue with pre-season duties. He even slept on the bus ride to recover from the long night.

The message from Barcelona is clear that while the club values discipline, they also understand that players are human. 

Flick’s decision to let Yamal enjoy his special day shows the balance between personal life and professional responsibility, a balance that will help the young star grow both on and off the pitch.
