West Ham have entered the race to sign Fabio Vieira from Arsenal.
According to Sky Germany, the east Londoners face competition from Stuttgart and another top Bundesliga club are also interested in the 25-year-old Portuguese midfielder, with a departure from the Gunners expected before the transfer window closes.
The addition of Vieira would continue West Ham’s midfield makeover late in this window, with Mateus Fernandes and Soungoutou Magassa joining the club in the past two days. Vieira joined Arsenal in 2022 for a deal worth £34m, but spent last season on loan at former club FC Porto.
RB Leipzig are targeting Liverpool’s Harvey Elliott as a replacement for the Xavi Simons, but the German side are reluctant to meet the asking price for the midfielder, report ESPN.
Liverpool are not under pressure to let Elliott leave. The 22-year-old is seen as a key part of Arne Slot’s squad with the Reds keen to keep him. However, if Slot’s side bring in another attacker, then their stance on Elliott might change.
If a transfer for Elliott materialises, then Liverpool could make a move for Aston Villa’s Morgan Rogers, Football Insider say. The 23-year-old has emerged as a target for the Premier League Champions, who are huge admirers of the midfielder.
Manchester United defender Noussair Mazraoui has emerged as a target for Serie A side Juventus, reports Gazetta dello Sport. The Moroccan is expected to return to training next week for United, and the Italian side are eyeing up a loan move for the 27-year-old.
According to A Bola, Chelsea are considering a move for SC Braga forward Roger Fernandes before the end of the transfer window. In order to sign the 19-year-old, the Blues must pay the Portuguese Under-21 international’s €40m release clause. If Fernandes does sign for Chelsea, he will most likely be loaned out to French side Strasbourg, who are also owned by parent company BlueCo.
