Offseason workout dates are right around the corner, with the Dallas Cowboys set to get back onto the field for the first time in 2025 on Monday, April 14 to kick off the familiarization process. Team activities at team facilities are a great way to get back into things, but quarterback Dak Prescott isn’t waiting. He decided to get some extra work with a few of his skill players.

Tight end Jake Ferguson, wideout Jalen Brooks, and fullback Hunter Luepke were recently recorded working out with their Pro Bowl quarterback in an indoor practice facility, courtesy of Big B Media.

Prescott has been spotted a few times this offseason getting in extra work with his guys, further putting to bed any questions about his health. The star quarterback went down in the eighth game of the season due to a torn hamstring that required season-ending surgery.

Getting back onto the field early should go a long way toward re-familiarizing himself with his teammates after his injury. It also gives fans a chance to see for themselves how much weight the star quarterback has lost. Contrary to popular belief, his current drop sits more around the 3-pound mark rather than the 30-50 pound loss that somehow gained traction on social media.

New head coach Brian Schottenheimer may bring back a large portion of the offense from last season, but he will undoubtedly introduce new offensive concepts. Getting a jump start on that process could only help with the learning curve brought with a new coaching staff.
