USC football countdown to kickoff—Jarrett Kingston in focus

The countdown to USC’s 2025 football season is officially on! The Trojans kick off their new campaign 52 days from today. You need something to help you while away the days and hours in the spring and summer. This is one way to do so. In this new series, countdown to kickoff, we will be counting down the days by highlighting a notable Trojan who wore each number. Today, we look at former USC offensive lineman Jarrett Kingston.

Position: Offensive line

Years played at USC: 2023

Career highlights: After spending five years at Washington State, Kingston transferred to USC for his sixth and final year of collegiate eligibility in 2023. He appeared in 12 of the Trojans‘ 13 games in his lone season on campus, making 11 starts. He played both right tackle and right guard for USC.

After USC: The San Francisco 49ers selected Kingston in the sixth round of the 2024 NFL Draft. However, he was waived by San Francisco prior to the start of the regular season and claimed off waivers by the Carolina Panthers the following day. Kingston appeared in seven games for Carolina last year. He will look to play a bigger role with the team in 2025.
