Trinity Rodman Injury Update-USWNT Star Throws Up On First Day Back originally appeared on Athlon Sports.
The USWNT is back in action in a friendly match against the Republic of Ireland. With a couple of stars injured and some others back, Trinity Rodman is back on the field after a time off. Apparently, she threw up on the field right after the training session.
Days after playing against Brazil in a friendly match on April 05, the 22‑year‑old U.S. soccer player was ruled out indefinitely by the Washington Spirit due to a lingering back injury. More than a month later, the Olympian offered an update on social media, posting a video of herself going through a tough physical therapy and recovery routine.
Back in action, Rodman had her first training session under the heath wave that’s hitting most part of the United States. Due to the intense workout session and the hot weather, Rodman threw up as soon as it finished her routine, she shared in her Instagram stories.

Rodman is one of the most important players of the new generation of the USWNT. With Alex Morgan and Megan Rapinoe retire, Rodman steps up as one of the best attacking options for the national team for the next 10 years – at least.
She will not be available against the Republic of Ireland game on Thursday night.
Trinity Rodman is heading to Europe soon
Rodman is in the spotlight making big time goals, marketing for its sponsors, leading the way in the USWNT and Washington Spirit. On the other hand, she shared her desire to play overseas in a recent interview with ESPN.
“Yeah, I’ve always thought about playing overseas at some point in my career. I think I would kick myself if I retired and hadn’t done that.”
