Much has been made of Notre Dame’s exceptional 2026 recruiting class, and Marcus Freeman and his staff have already been busy stocking talent for 2027 as well.
North Carolina’s Amir Brown is a four-star running back from Rolesville (Raleigh, NC) who already has an offer from the Fighting Irish. He has developed a strong relationship with Fighting Irish running backs coach Ja’Juan Seider, who has made quite the impact since his arrival in South Bend.
Brown has offers from several programs besides Notre Dame, including in-state North Carolina, Ohio State, Michigan, Penn State and Texas, among others. But the Irish are one of the top schools on his list after he had an enjoyable visit to South Bend in April.
The 5-foot-10, 200-pounder has plans to return for Notre Dame’s home opener against Texas A&M on September 13, and he’s hoping to make it to a few other games at other schools as well. But the Irish have certainly made a strong impact thus far on the Rolesville star.
ND has had a run of recent success in North Carolina, getting talent such as Bryce Young, Rodney Dunham, Ebenezer Ewetade and Nick Reddish in the past few classes. Getting Brown would be another coup.
Could Rolesville (N.C.) High four-star RB Amir Brown be the next to commit to Notre Dame? 🤔
“I love that they’re building their 2027 class. Maybe I can add or be the next dude to join their class.” ☘️
