The Dallas Cowboys traded Micah Parsons to the Green Bay Packers on Thursday. For real.
All along the issue (the primary one at least) between the Cowboys and Parsons seemed to be centered around compensation. The Cowboys and Parsons were not meeting eye to eye and that obviously led to him being traded.
Parsons got a new deal from his new team and it is a big one. The Packers are signing him to a four-year deal worth $188M with $136M guaranteed. That comes out to $47M per year.
Do you think the Cowboys were right to not do this? This is obviously a lot of money, but to be fair it would have been less if the Cowboys had taken care of it long ago.
Should Dallas have made this deal and not sent Parsons to the Packers? Or are you happy that they passed now that you know the numbers?
