The Raiders have locked in 4th round DT Tonka Hemingway to a four-year deal

Taking care of business continues for the Raiders as they get their rookie draft class under contract. Which is important considering they take to the field for rookie minicamp Friday. The latest is fourth round DT Tonka Hemingway, who slgns his four-year rookie deal.

Hemingway was selected at 135 overall in the fourth round out of South Carolina.

Tonka Hemingway Raiders contract

Hemingway signs a fully guaranteed four-year, $4.87 million deal with a $666K signing bonus.

His 2025 salary cap figure will be just under $1.1 million

The 6-2, 282-pounder spent five seasons at South Carolina (2020-24) and appeared in a school-record 61 career games, tallying 112 tackles (70 solo), 17.5 tackles for loss, 9.5 sacks, 11 pass breakups and six fumble recoveries. He also played on offense and scored two touchdowns and one two-point conversion.

In 2024, Hemingway earned third team All-SEC honors after playing in 13 games with 11 starts and recording 25 tackles, four sacks, one pass breakups, one forced fumble and two fumble recoveries.
