Tennessee Titans land Josh Allen in Chad Reuter's 'win now' mock draft

Every year, each team in the NFL wants nothing more than to win a championship. Only one team can do it, though, and the Tennessee Titans have only appeared in one Super Bowl game, which they lost to the St. Louis Rams.

Aside from that, the only championships the Titans can claim are the AFL Championships in 1960 and 1961 as the Houston Oilers.

The Titans believe they are on the right track now with Cam Ward, but what if they could draft any active player to their side? Draft analyst Chad Reuter wondered the same thing about every NFL team and created a seven-round mock draft that would see each team “win now.”

The draft order is based on the 2025 NFL draft order and snakes through each round. Reuter makes it clear that this is obviously something that would never happen in real life, but it’s fun to pretend.

Here’s who the Titans landed:

No. 1 – Josh Allen, QB

The Titans take Allen first overall, hoping the reigning league MVP can be their answer at quarterback.

No. 64 – Christian McCaffrey, RB

McCaffrey’s a tough projection because of his injury history, but the Titans may not be able to pass on his ability to create problems for defenses from the backfield and as a pass catcher.

No. 66 – Mike Evans, WR

Tennessee is banking on Evans to produce a record 12th straight 1,000-yard campaign.

No. 126 – Brian Burns, EDGE

Burns hasn’t made the Pro Bowl since 2022, but Tennessee brings in his 54.5 career sacks as a major threat to quarterbacks outside.

No. 131 – Kerby Joseph, S

The Titans take Joseph in Round 5 after the All-Pro led the NFL with nine interceptions last season.

No. 191 – Charles Cross, OT

Cross is beginning to meet his potential as an athletic pass protector in Seattle, putting him on the radar as a bargain pickup for the Titans at the end of the sixth round.

No. 193 – Zach Sieler, DT

Sieler posted 10 sacks for the second straight year with Miami in 2024, and he would be a strong starter at 5-technique for the Titans.

With these seven players added to their roster, Reuter believes the Titans could win now. And while some of these additions would be welcome (Brian Burns is intriguing), we’d be looking at an entirely different team.

Besides, the Titans think they have what they need to not just win games now, but to win games for years to come.
