COLUMBIA — South Carolina football is just over two months away from its season opener.
On June 11, the SEC released the start time windows for each game, revealing more information ahead of the Gamecocks’ 2025 season.
Each game was assigned one of the windows prior to the season. Exact start times and network designations will be announced as the games approach.
The windows mean each game will start between:
- Early: Noon – 1 p.m. ET
- Afternoon: 3:30-4:30 p.m. ET
- Night: 6-8 p.m. ET
- Flex: 3:30-4:30 p.m. ET or 6-8 p.m. ET
South Carolina football 2025 schedule
It was previously announced that the season opener against Virginia Tech will kickoff at 3 p.m. ET on Aug. 31 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta (ESPN).
The SEC revealed on May 29 that the home opener against South Carolina State on Sept. 6 will kickoff at 7 p.m. ET (ESPN+, SEC Network+) and then hosts Vanderbilt in its conference opener on Sept. 13, which will kickoff at either 7 p.m. or 7:45 p.m. ET (ESPN or SEC Network).
- Aug. 31 vs Virginia Tech: 3 p.m., ESPN
- Sept. 6 vs South Carolina State: 7 p.m., SEC Network+ or ESPN+
- Sept. 13 vs Vanderbilt: 7 p.m. or 7:45 p.m., ESPN or SEC Network
- Sept. 20 at Missouri: Flex (3:30-4:30 p.m. ET or 6-8 p.m. ET)
- Sept. 27 vs Kentucky: Flex (3:30-4:30 p.m. ET or 6-8 p.m. ET)
- Oct. 11 at LSU: Flex (3:30-4:30 p.m. ET or 6-8 p.m. ET)
- Oct. 18 vs Oklahoma: Early (Noon – 1 p.m. ET)
- Oct. 25 vs Alabama: Flex (3:30-4:30 p.m. ET or 6-8 p.m. ET)
- Nov. 1 at Ole Miss: Flex (3:30-4:30 p.m. ET or 6-8 p.m. ET)
- Nov. 15 at Texas A&M: Early (Noon – 1 p.m. ET)
- Nov. 22 vs Coastal Carolina: Afternoon (3:30-4:30 p.m. ET)
- Nov. 29 vs Clemson: Noon, ABC or ESPN
