Sixers to sign Isaiah Mobley ahead of season finale against Bulls

The Philadelphia 76ers needed to fill a roster spot ahead of the season finale against the Chicago Bulls. After losing Colin Castleton to the Toronto Raptors after his 10-day expired and not being able to have Jeff Dowtin Jr. due to his games expiring on Friday, the Sixers needed to bring in a player.

On the day of the season finale, the Sixers will bring in Isaiah Mobley on a deal. The bother of Cleveland Cavaliers star Evan Mobley, the big man averaged 17.4 points and 7.9 rebounds in 22 games with the Delaware Blue Coats in the G League. He has 22 games of NBA experience with the Cavs and career averages of 2.5 points and 1.4 rebounds.

The Sixers will give Mobley an opportunity to show what he can do in the season finale before they head off into an uncertain offseason. Tip off from the Wells Fargo Center is set for 1 p.m. EDT with the Bulls.
