LAS VEGAS — The Philadelphia 76ers will continue the summer league on Saturday when they take on the Charlotte Hornets. The Sixers are 1-3 in four summer league games thus far–three in Salt Lake City and one in Vegas–and will be looking to find a way to pick up a win.
The Sixers will do so without the services of rookie VJ Edgecombe who will miss his fourth straight game due to a left thumb sprain. The No. 3 overall pick of the 2025 NBA draft had a fantastic summer league debut, but has not had the chance yet to build off that performance.
As Edgecombe moves forward, the Sixers say they will give an update on his status prior to Tuesday’s contest with the Washington Wizards in Vegas.
