An injured member of the midfield ranks at La Liga giants Real Madrid has late this week linked back up with his teammates in group training.

The player in question? Eduardo Camavinga.

Midfielder Camavinga has for his part been sidelined since back in April, owing to a muscular injury.

En route to a 1-0 La Liga downing of Getafe, the Frenchman pulled up with a groin concern, which was later confirmed to have brought a premature end to his 2024/25 campaign.

The initial assumption was that Camavinga would likely also be ruled out of the FIFA Club World Cup in the USA.

After reports began to surface in the media that the 22-year-old was ahead of schedule in his recovery over the last week, though, on Friday, the news which those of a Real Madrid persuasion were awaiting was finally forthcoming.

As showcased below, Camavinga has returned to team training alongside the rest of Xabi Alonso’s squad.

The former Stade Rennais talent could in turn be called up for Los Blancos’ upcoming showdown with Borussia Dortmund in the Club World Cup quarter-finals.
