Sask. winter conditions strike north, south as RCMP warns of icy roads

The Saskatchewan RCMP is warning travellers about road conditions in the province’s southwest, west of Saskatoon.It says Highways 7, 14, 21 and 51 near communities like Kindersley, Unity, Kerrobert and Macklin are facing icy conditions, citing freezing rain as a factor.The Sasktchewan Highway Hotline is recommending against travel in certain sections of those highways.”If travel is necessary, stay on roads that have recently received road maintenance,” Sask.
