San Francisco 49erstight end George Kittle made an appearance at the 2025 NHL Draft on June 27.
Kittle, who is close to Nashville Predators’ forward Filip Forsberg and also hosts Tight End University in Nashville, went virtual to announce the team’s second pick of the day, defenseman Cameron Reid at No. 21 overall.
Kittle has a history of appearing at Predators games, and he spends much of the offseason training in Nashville. In the 2024 playoffs, he made an appearance at Bridgestone Arena to hype up the crowd against the Vancouver Canucks.
The 31-year-old tight end has caught 538 passes for 7,380 yards and 45 touchdowns for the 49ers in eight seasons, and has been named to the Pro Bowl six times since being drafted in the fifth round in 2017.
