With the 2025 NBA draft officially in the rear-view mirror, all eyes turn to free agency, for the Golden State Warriors, specifically Jonathan Kuminga.
According to Anthony Slater of The Athletic, the Warriors have tendered the $7.9 million qualifying offer to Kuminga, making him a restricted free agent for the summer.

The Warriors will now have the right to match any offer Kuminga receives in free agency. The Warriors could also seek different sign-and-trade options with Kuminga.
In an up-and-down season that included a 31-game absence due to an ankle injury, Kuminga averaged 15.3 points on 45.4% shooting from the field to go along with 4.6 rebounds and 2.2 assists in 47 games.
At the end of the season, Kuminga fell out of Steve Kerr’s rotation. However, after Steph Curry’s injury in the second round of the postseason, Kuminga re-entered the lineup, averaging 24.2 points in four games against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
