Rutgers forward Ace Bailey has reportedly scheduled a workout with the Philadelphia 76ers before the 2025 NBA draft, according to Jake Fischer of The Stein Line on Substack.
Bailey was a third-team All-Big Ten selection, averaging 17.6 points, 7.2 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 1.3 blocks and one steal on 34.6% shooting from 3-point range. He ranked ninth among all freshmen in points (527) and 10th in rebounds (215).
The 6-foot-8 forward is projected to be a top-five pick and a potential target for the Sixers with the third overall pick. He will meet with team personnel at some point in the next two weeks ahead of the draft on June 25-26 in Brooklyn, New York.

Bailey is highly touted because of his size, scoring and instincts on both ends of the court. He has an incredible feel for the game and can score from each level, having registered three 30-point performances with the Scarlet Knights.
The Sixers have other potential prospects to consider with the No. 3 pick, such as Baylor guard VJ Edgecombe, whom the team has hosted for a workout. They have also been rumored to potentially trade down, though they reportedly intend to draft a player early in the lottery.
Bailey recently earned praise from Sixers forward Paul George, who believes the 18-year-old has plenty of potential to tap into. The team will get a close look at Bailey soon in Philadelphia, a meeting that could secure his selection in the draft.
