Inter Milan have reportedly denied rumours that midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu has asked for a move to Galatasaray.
This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews.
Hakan Calhanoglu has been at the centre of a lot of speculation over the last few weeks.
The 31-year-old is reportedly a target for Turkish champions Galatasaray.
There is talk of the Istanbul giants having already sounded out a move with Calhanoglu’s representatives.
Then, there would of course be the question of Inter’s demands on a fee.
Reportedly, the Nerazzurri want at least €30-35 million to sell Calhanoglu. And that would be higher than Galatasaray want to pay for the former AC Milan midfielder.
Inter Deny Rumours Hakan Calhanoglu Has Asked For Galatasaray Move
Yesterday, though, reports emerged from Turkey that Calhanoglu has asked Inter for the move.
These rumours suggest that the 31-year-old has gone to the Nerazzurri hierarchy personally.
Having reminded Inter that he signed on a free transfer, he asked that the club be more open to lowering the fee in negotiations with Galatasaray.
However, according to Tuttosport, Inter have denied all of these rumours.
