The NFL Draft has to absorb a lot of various pieces of data and variables when deciding if a prospect is a good fit for their team and franchise. One of the pieces to the puzzle for teams includes Relative Athletic Scores, or RAS. Created by Kent Lee Patte, the RAS score of a player has become something that every fan and analyst use when analyzing players following the scouting combine, when testing numbers become official.
Just like we used the RAS numbers before the draft, we wanted to use them after as well. On that note, we are gathering all the RAS scores from the Bucs‘ draft picks and comparing them to what Jason Licht has typically drafted from the position in the past. We have the averages from his picks since he took over as Bucs general manager in 2014.
Here are the Bucs draft picks’ RAS Scores, as well as their comparisons to the average at their position.
