Former Florida guard Walter Clayton Jr. is among the third group of prospects invited to attend the 2025 NBA draft from the green room at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
Clayton led the Gators to their third national championship, averaging 18.3 points, 4.2 assists, 3.7 rebounds and 1.2 steals on 38.6% shooting from 3-point range. He ranked eighth in the country in scoring, setting the single-season program record with 713 total points.
Joining Clayton in the green room are Joan Beringer (Cedevita Olimpija), Nique Clifford (Colorado State), Cedric Coward (Washington State) and Danny Wolf (Michigan), according to Jonathan Givony of ESPN. They are among 24 total prospects expected to be on hand backstage.

Teams with first-round picks each year vote on the players they believe will be drafted early, typically the top 20-25 prospects. Last year, 25 prospects were invited to the green room, and only two weren’t selected in the first round (Kyle Filipowski, Johnny Furphy).
Last week, the first batch of invitations was reportedly sent out to the top players, including Cooper Flagg (Duke), Dylan Harper (Rutgers) and VJ Edgecombe (Baylor). Nolan Traoré (Saint-Quentin) and Noa Essengue (ratiopharm Ulm), part of the second group, were invited earlier this week.
The 2025 NBA draft will feature a two-night format for the second consecutive year, with the first round scheduled for June 25 and the second round for June 26.
