Dana Altman and the Oregon Ducks added another valuable piece to the roster on Wednesday out of the transfer portal.
Former Ohio State power forward and McDonald’s All-American Sean Stewart announced he will be transferring to Oregon for the 2025-26 season. The 6-foot-9 Stewart solidifies a nice roster heading into next season for Dana Altman and crew.
Stewart will be a junior next season after averaging 5.7 points and 5.8 rebounds a game for the Buckeyes last year. He started out at Duke.
Adding Stewart is a big get for the Ducks as he should be the first one coming off the bench to give either Kwame Evans or Nate Bittle a break, assuming Bittle returns to the Ducks for one more season.
Altman has been busy dabbling in the transfer this offseason, as he has retained the services of point guard TK Simpkins (Elon), center Miles Goodman (Penn State), and forward Devon Pryor (Texas).
