Oklahoma State CB with 4.35 speed visits Dolphins

Oklahoma State cornerback Korie Black spent Wednesday visiting the Miami Dolphins, according to Jordan Schultz of Fox Sports.

Black, who measures in at 6’0, 190 pounds, spent five seasons with the OSU Cowboys and earned All-Big 12 honorable mentions in his last two years with the school. According to Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2, Black was timed at 4.35 seconds in the 40-yard dash and recorded a 39-inch vertical at the Big 12 Pro Day.

In his final season at Oklahoma State, Black recorded three interceptions, nine pass breakups, and 36 tackles. Pro Football Focus gave him a 73.9 grade, third best on the Cowboys defense in 2024, and credited him with allowing 55.4 percent of the targets thrown his direction to be completed.

The Dolphins are in need of help at the cornerback position after parting ways with Kendall Fuller earlier this offseason. The team also confirmed Tuesday that it’s on the hunt for a trade partner to deal away Jalen Ramsey. Those departures leave Kader Kohou, Storm Duck, Cam Smith, Ethan Bonner, and the recently signed Artie Burns as the team’s top options at the cornerback position.

Wednesday is the deadline for teams to bring in as many as 30 players for private visits before the 2025 NFL draft.
