A leading member of the midfield ranks at Barcelona has on Thursday secured for himself an altogether prestigious individual prize.
The player in question? Pedri.
Spanish international Pedri is of course in the midst of nothing short of a spectacular run of form at present.
Continuing to make a name for himself as one of the very best midfielders in all of world football, the 22-year-old has been, in the eyes of many, Barcelonaโs star performer en route to an all-out charge for the treble.
In the month of April, Pedri has taken to the pitch in La Liga on four occasions, against all of Real Betis, Leganรฉs, Celta Vigo and, most recently, Mallorca.
And on each occasion, the former Las Palmas talent thoroughly impressed, clinching Man of the Match honours amid widespread praise as recently as Tuesday night.
In turn, it should on Thursday come as little surprise to hear of Pedri scooping a fresh award.
As per a release across the divisionโs social media platforms, Barcelonaโs engine room standout has been named La Liga Player of the Month for April.
