Notre Dame is well represented on the 2025 all-ACC academic baseball team.
More than 220 student-athletes from 16 ACC baseball programs were honored for this past season, including Notre Dame, which had 13 members of the baseball squad earn a spot on the team.
Graduate students Sammy Cooper, Jackson Dennies and Brady Gumpf earned their fifth academic all-ACC honor of their careers, while Rory Fox earned the academic distinction for the third time in as many years. They were joined by teammates Parker Brzustewicz, Connor Hincks, Xavier Hirsch, Davis Johnson, Kellan Klosterman, Tobey McDonough, Estevan Moreno, Carson Tinney and Chase Van Ameyde as honorees.
To qualify, student-athletes must have a career 3.0 cumulative grade point average and a 3.0 GPA in their most recent semester. They also must have participated in at least 50 percent of their team’s games, while pitchers must meet a requirement of playing in a minimum of 20 percent of the team’s matchups.
