Notre Dame alum Sonia Citron has made her WNBA debut, and it was a sparkling one.
Citron had 19 points, two rebounds and two assists in her first game with the Washington Mystics. She shot 85.7 percent from the field, making six of seven field goals. She drained both three-pointers she attempted and was five-of-six from the free-throw line.
She played 24 minutes in the Mystics’ 94-90 win over the Atlanta Dream.
We’d say that’s a pretty successful debut.
