This week was busy for all 32 teams in the NFL, including the Buffalo Bills, with roster cuts.
Then came the wavier wire, a double-edged sword.
The Bills could put in wavier claims and sign players released from other teams. On the flip side, other teams could add those cut in Buffalo.
In terms of both sides of the ledger… nothing.
According to the NFL’s transaction wire, the Bills did not claim anyone, nor did any of their cuts get picked up:

While potentially curious on both ends, there could be reasons.
The Bills added talent to their practice squad, but undrafted rookies that sign with teams after the NFL draft each year usually go to clubs that have opportunities. Buffalo is a good team, there are not many holes in their roster.
On top of that, their wavier claim spot was No. 30 overall. We’ll never know if General manager Brandon Beane put in a claim for a player and did not get them, but regardless, it’s not a good spot to land some of the top talent out there.
Bills Wire will continue to provide updates throughout the 2025 season.
