Pittsburgh Steelers tight end Jonnu Smith, who was Robinson’s teammate in 2023, described him as “AI (Allen Iverson) with the ball in his hands.
“The way he’s able to manipulate cuts, it doesn’t look like they are things the human body can do”
Guard Chris Lindstrom, the standout guard on the Falcons, raved about Robinson as a person and a teammate.
Matt Judon, who played for the Falcons last season, said, “Bijan with the ball is pure poetry.”
Even Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley had good things to say. “I think Bijan’s the next great one,” he said. “Bijan is definitely the next great one.”
The Arizona native (from Tucson) had 1,456 rushing yards and 14 touchdowns in 2024, and he had 61 receptions for 431 yards and another score.
When the Cardinals played the Falcons and Robinson in 2023, the return of quarterback Kyler Murray to the lineup, Robinson had 95 rushing yards and a touchdown in a 25-23 Cardinals win.
The Cardinals will play the Falcons at home in Week 16, their final home game of the regular season, and will have to handle Robinson when playoff berths and division titles could be on the line.
