The Cardinals received one of the highest grades in the league.

But the Cardinals were one of three NFC West teams to get high grades. In fact, the NFC West had the three top-ranked offseasons in the league.

Let’s have a look.

NFL offseason grades, rankings: The NFC West

The Los Angeles Rams, San Francisco 49ers and Cardinals were at the top. The Seattle Seahawks were not bad but much farther down the list.

  • Rams: A grade, No. 1 overall
  • 49ers: A-minus grade, No. 2 overall
  • Cardinals: A-minus grade, No. 3 overall
  • Seahawks: B-minus, No. 19 overall

Rams

The Rams redid quarterback Matthew Stafford’s contract to keep him at least another year. They acquired receiver Davante Adams and they acquired an additional first-round pick for the 2026 draft.

49ers

They brought back Robert Saleh to be defensive coordinator. They gave quarterback Brock Purdy a contract extension and extended tight end George Kittle and linebacker Fred Warner.

They lost a lot of players in free agency but have players in place to replace them.

Cardinals

They extended tight end Trey McBride and signed pass rusher Josh Sweat and defensive tackles Dalvin Tomlinson and Calais Campbell. They added backup quarterback Jacoby Brissett.

Seahawks

They traded quarterback Geno Smith and signed quarterback Sam Darnold. They traded DK Metcalf but signed Cooper Kupp. They did not bring in an upgrade at guard.
