Regular-season success is nothing new for the Buffalo Bills with Josh Allen at quarterback and Sean McDermott as head coach. Buffalo has won at least 10 games and made the playoffs every season since 2019. The Bills have also exceeded their projected win total in seven of the eight seasons under McDermott, including the past three seasons.
Unfortunately for Buffalo, they still play in the AFC, and Patrick Mahomes’ Kansas City Chiefs have ended their playoff runs in four of the past five seasons, including a heartbreaking 32-29 loss in the AFC championship game last season.
Expectations are high again this season, as the Bills have a win total of 11.5 and are hefty -325 favorites to win the AFC East at BetMGM sportsbooks. And shortly after the 2025 NFL schedule release, oddsmakers installed the Bills favored in all 17 games at sportsbooks. It is only the second time Buffalo has been favored in every game in a season since 1960, per Sports Odds History. The Bills were favored in all 16 games in the 2022 season, going 13-3 overall but only 8-7-1 against the spread.
The Bills are also favored in the largest projected spread this season: -12.5 in Week 4 against the New Orleans Saints. Buffalo is currently at least a 5.5-point favorite in 10 games.
The Bills are tied for the best odds to win Super Bowl 60 — +700 with the Philadelphia Eagles and Baltimore Ravens — to win Super Bowl LX at BetMGM, and are tied with the Ravens for the best odds at +340 to win the AFC. Buffalo also has the best odds of any NFL team (-750) to make the postseason.
The Bills are currently 1-point home favorites in Week 1 against the Ravens.
