Russell Wilson’s name is hot again. First, he signed a one-year deal with the New York Giants to be with their starting quarterback this season, and now comes the news that one of his off-the-field ventures is taking off as well.
From Pro Football Network:
Wilson has generated a whopping $305,362,520 from his NFL career, but he is also building a fortune off the field. Wilson launched his first clothing brand, Good Man Brand, in 2016 before teaming up with his wife, Grammy award-winning singer-songwriter Ciara, for his signature clothing line, 3BRAND.
A little over four years after the launch, the brand has now made its big screen debut in Marvel’s ‘Ironheart,’ and the couple can’t hide their happiness over achieving the significant milestone.
Wilson shared his happiness over the milestone achievement in an Instagram post and wrote, “MARVEL baby! @3Brand making our debut on the big screen! Grateful to be in Episode 1 #IronHeart on @DisneyPlus #INSPIRE.”
Wilson signed a one-year, $10.5 million deal with Big Blue in March. It is an incentive-laden contract that could net the 10-time Pro Bowler over $21 million if all benchmarks are achieved.
The Giants, who have had both quality and depth issues at quarterback over the past six seasons, have brought in not only Wilson but Jameis Winston as well. Then they added Jaxson Dart in the draft to bulk up the quarterback room even more.
Wilson is expected to play as long as he is effective this season, but many experts expect the Giants to give Dart at least a test run in his rookie year.
