NBA Fans React to Pacers’ Historic Playoff Comeback Over Cleveland Cavaliers

The Indiana Pacers and Cleveland Cavaliers are currently engaged in a heated second-round battle that has seen tempers flare already.

Both are extremely tough and gritty which is a large part of why they swept the Milwaukee Bucks and Miami Heat respectively in their first-round matchups.

All-Star point guard Darius Garland has yet to play in the series due to a toe injury he sustained against Miami which has made the postseason harder than it already is.

Cleveland dropped the first game against Indiana and although they were missing three starters in game two, they jumped out to a huge lead.

The Cavs looked like they were shot out of a cannon as they raced to a 17-point first quarter lead, but it quickly evaporated in the second half.

The lead climbed to 20 points and from that point forward it was pretty much all Pacers.

Trailing by seven points with less than a minute to play, Indiana went on a 8-0 run capped off by a Tyrese Haliburton game winning step back three to win 120-119.

The Cavs are now down 2-0 and heading on the road, so there is a very real chance their season is coming to an end and the internet is letting them hear about it.

Cleveland was viewed as frauds by NBA fans all year long and this user took the loss as an opportunity to rub it in their face.

The Cavs became just the third team in NBA history to lose a playoff game where they held a seven point lead in the final minute and this user commented on the historic collapse.

This Los Angeles Lakers fan imagines a scenario where Cleveland signs the LeBron James in the offseason to get them over the hump.

The Cavaliers will give everything they have to come back in the series because if they don’t then they’ll be reminded of this loss all summer.
