The New York Jets selected wide receiver Arian Smith with the 110th pick in the 2025 NFL draft.
Smith, a senior from the University of Georgia, is speedy wide receiver who will come in and try to earn snaps across from star receiver Garrett Wilson.
Smith ran a 4.36 40-yard dash at the NFL Combine, while recording a 38″ vertical leap. He is on the lighter side, however, at 179 pounds.
In 2024 he led the Bulldogs with 817 receiving yards while playing in all 14 games and starting in 9. He had 48 receptions and four touchdowns.
A true burner and former sprinter, Smith averaged 36.5 yards on his 10 career touchdown catches. The Jets are hoping he parlays that speed into a more refined route-runner and consistent ball-catcher to contribute at the NFL level.
Here’s a roundup of reactions to the Jets picking Smith in Round 4:
With their fourth-round pick (110), the #Jets select Georgia WR Arian Smith. Averaged 17 yards per catch in 2024, excellent combine workout. Had some big drops last year. pic.twitter.com/zcBSp61F14

There is a reason why players fall to Day 3. Teams will be looking to draft players because they feel there is potential with them if they are allowed to develop.#Jets fans need to remember that with Arian Smith. Good player, really fast, but obviously needs to catch the ball.…

The fastest Georgia player, Arian Smith, is drafted by the Jets.
Seems appropriate.
