Mississippi State added another key piece to its 2026 recruiting class Saturday, securing a commitment from three-star defensive lineman Kaleb Morris.

The 6-foot-4, 250-pound prospect from Mary G. Montgomery High School (Alabama) announced his decision on social media following an official visit to Starkville. He chose the Bulldogs over offers from Houston, Tulane, Florida Atlantic, Boston College, Georgia Tech and others.

“I decided to commit to Mississippi State after having a really good official visit today,” Morris told 247Sports. “The staff really made me feel like I was at home. I really like the plans that Coach Turner has for me in the trenches.”

Morris is ranked as the No. 125 among defensive linemen nationally and No. 47 overall in Alabama by 247Sports. He becomes the 10th commitment for the Bulldogs in the 2026 cycle. Morris is also the second defensive lineman in the class, joining four-star Emanuel Tucker.

Known for his power and explosiveness, Morris is a disruptive force at the line of scrimmage. His ability to stay low, use his hands effectively with aggression makes him a difficult matchup for opposing offensive linemen.

Mississippi State’s 2026 class is currently ranked No. 38 nationally and No. 10 in the SEC, according to the 247Sports.
