The Mid-East 8-10 year old baseball team defeated Cochranton 8-6 on Tuesday.

Easton Baker and Wesley Barickman each went 1-for-3. Maddox Vallieres was 1-for-2 with a BB. The pitching staff combined for seven strikeouts.

“Cooper Reynolds and Carter Carpenter each took one for the team with a hit-by-pitch,” head coach Justin Reynolds said. “The boys had a good eye at the plate with a bunch of walks. Our pitching staff was strong with seven strikeouts and trusted the gloves behind them to make plays. I am very proud of these young guys.”

Mid-East will play Meadville on Thursday at 8 pm. with a trip to the district championship on the line.
