Matthew Stafford’s Wife Shares Family’s Glimpse From Last Offseason Night originally appeared on Athlon Sports.
Matthew Stafford is going into his 17th season as an NFL quarterback. He has a lot of miles on that body, and that is showing up in its own ways.
Los Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay recently revealed that the 37-year-old QB is facing back soreness that will keep him away from team training camp, but he continues to work on it on his own.
However, he’s getting the most out of the off-season, as can be seen from the videos shared by his wife, Kelly Stafford.
On Tuesday, the podcast host took to Instagram to give a sneak peek into the last night the Staffords spent together before the LA Rams quarterback begins training for the season.
Stafford was seen with his daughters, setting up the fire, roasting marshmallows, and then making all of them pose for a picture. It was a wholesome night before the gruelling rigor of the season kicks off.
Fans also thoroughly enjoyed watching the familial bond. One IG user said, “What a perfect night to kick off the season. Such a sweet family moment 💛💙”
There were many appreciators of Matthew Stafford’s roasting technique. One commenter said, “He made the marshmallows perfectly golden!!! Excellent job.”
Another user said, “So glad you had a wonderful offseason and so glad to see you guys know how to roast your marshmallows correctly! And love that last group shot.”
Matthew Stafford and his wife have been married for 10 years, and in April this year, she shared the struggles of married life. She made an in-depth episode on her podcast, the Morning After, on ‘Marriage Ain’t Easy’.
She talked about going through the IVF process with Stafford and becoming closer to each other after their hardships despite having been together since college.
The 35-year-old podcaster is now getting ready to support the 37-year-old quarterback as he takes on another adrenaline-filled season of football.
