The Michigan Wolverines secured their second defensive line commitment for the Class of 2026 on Monday as McHale Blade of Simeon High School chose the Wolverines over Georgia, USC and a host of others.
Blade joined EDGE Tariq Boney on the defensive line with the Wolverines busy restocking a team that lost tackles Mason Graham and Kenneth Grant to the NFL draft this past April.
The Blade announcement was coupled with big news from a Liberty Hill, Texas based four-star defensive lineman whose size and skills may remind some fans of Graham, who is now in the NFL after he was selected fifth in the draft by the Cleveland Browns.
Allister Valejo, a four-star defender, retweeted a message from late last month as he announced his forthcoming college decision will be made soon.
Vallejo stands 6-feet, 3 inches tall and weighs 310 pounds, providing a similar build to Graham as a multi-dimensional defensive tackle who has played defensive end in high school.
Vallejo lists Kansas, Notre Dame and Michigan as his final three choices based on his recent update.

“TX-MI,” Michigan recruit Jaylen Pile wrote under Vallejo’s post in hopes of swaying him to the Wolverines.
