Marcus Freeman to have an extensive interview with Joel Klatt on Monday

There aren’t many coaches nationally that have the flare that Notre Dame’s Marcus Freeman does, and on Monday he’ll be joining Fox Sports analyst Joel Klatt for an exclusive interview.

The Irish head coach is always a great listen as he generally tells it like it is, and goes in-depth on his thoughts on Notre Dame and college football as a whole. You have to expect that Freeman will be asked about the changes to the game, which include significantly different rules for Name, Image and Likeness, and player revenue along with the expansion and seeding changes for the College Football Playoff.

Notre Dame was a team this past fall the benefitted from the field moving from 4-teams to 12, as under the old format, the Irish would have been on the outside looking in as the No. 5 ranked team. As for the NIL aspect, it seems like the new ruling will even out the playing field, but the players getting revenue will be significantly different. The football team is expected to get a lions share of it, so that has to be a positive for Freeman.

The pairs conversation will go live on Monday at 10:00 a.m. ET, as we will all be interested in hearing what Freeman has to tell Klatt.
