LSU will host 2027 tight end Ahmad Hudson for a visit this fall, per Rivals’ Hayes Fawcett. The five-star prospect will also take trips to Texas, Houston, and Nebraska during the 2025 college football season.
Rivals’ Industry Rankings are the highest on Hudson. They list him as the top prospect out of Louisiana and at his position as well as No. 10 nationally. The Ruston native will enter his junior year at Ruston High School in the fall.
The Tigers are currently the favorites to land Hudson’s commitment with a 95.8% chance from Rivals’ Prediction Machine. They have a long way to go, but will certainly continue prioritizing keeping the best homegrown talent in the state.

LSU has yet to land a tight end commitment for its 2026 class, which makes signing a top talent as a freshman even more important. Expect the Tigers to be heavy contenders for Hudson as his recruiting process continues.
