LSU football plans to host four of the nation’s top-70 2026 prospects for official visits on Friday, per On3. Head coach Brian Kelly’s staff is aiming to add to the SEC’s top class.
According to a report from earlier this week, five-star commit Tristen Keys will make an official visit to Baton Rouge as well. The Hattiesburg, MS native announced in March he would play at LSU, but took visits to other schools anyway.
The tide changed in Keys’ recruitment when he canceled a trip to Alabama scheduled for this weekend. The news followed visits to Texas A&M, Tennessee, and Miami, but Keys saved his original choice for last, likely a good sign for LSU.
The Tigers’ 2026 class ranks second nationally behind USC, but the difference is largely due to volume. USC already has 30 commits while LSU has 10. The Tigers’ average recruit rating is the best in the country.
