Los Angeles Rams outside linebacker Jared Verse is coming off a fantastic 2024 season in which he won Defensive Rookie of the Year and was one of the best edge rushers in football. Including the playoffs, he led the NFL with 89 total pressures, one more than superstar Chris Jones of the Kansas City Chiefs.
As good as Verse was last year, he’s by no means satisfied. He’s maintained an unrelenting work ethic this offseason, training with other defenders from around the NFL – including fellow 2024 first-rounder, Laiatu Latu.

They share the same pass-rush coach, Ed McGilvra, who has worked with defenders in Southern California for years. This offseason, Verse has been training with Latu, Sheldon Rankins, Kwity Paye, Dayo Odeyingbo and three-time Pro Bowler Kenny Clark.

Training camp is just around the corner for Verse and the Rams, with all players reporting on July 24 before practice begins a few days later.
Verse is gearing up for another big year, adding a speed rush to his repertoire as a complement to his ferocious bull rush.
