Liverpool defender Joe Gomez is close to leaving the Reds for AC Milan, according to Matteo Moretto. The centre-back says goodbye after 10 trophy-laden years at Anfield.
Gomez made 243 appearances for Liverpool, providing 10 assists.
He has helped the club win multiple titles, including two Premier League trophies and one UEFA Champions League honour.

Liverpool will receive €15 million to let him leave Merseyside and join the 19-time Italian champions. He has failed to convince manager Arne Slot.
Slot has used Gomez sparingly since he joined the club last summer. The England international (15 caps) has made only 19 appearances for the Reds under the Dutchman.
This term, he has racked up a measly 29 minutes of playing time.
With the Reds trying to add Marc Guehi on top of Virgil Van Dijk, Ibrahima Konate, and new signing Giovanni Leoni, the writing is on the wall for Gomez.
In Milan, Gomez will feel important again.
The Serie A club is crying out for a defender with his qualities, and he can prove a crucial asset as they bid to bounce back from an atrocious 2024/25 campaign.
Milan want an experienced defender to sit in the middle of the back three, mopping up behind the two more aggressive wide centre-backs. Gomez can excel in that role.
