The Cleveland Browns had some urgency in needing to replace long time staple Nick Chubb as their starting running back for the first time in years. At the top of the second round Cleveland did just that by selecting Ohio State running back Quinshon Judkins with the 36th overall pick.
With excellent power, great contact balance, and enough speed to burn into the secondary, Judkins fits right in as the next feature back of the Cleveland offense. Given Jerome Ford is already on the team, Judkins looks to split time initially before likely taking over as a full-time back at the next level. There is no replacing Nick Chubb, but this fit does come as close as you can get out of the draft.
