LeBron James Ignites Nuggets Rumors With One Simple Move

It is that time of the offseason to overanalyze every little interaction and moment that is seen from the NBA landscape. LeBron James and the Denver Nuggets are helping contribute to that.

More specifically, it would be James and Nikola Jokic’s agent, Misko Raznatovic that are contributing to fanning the flames of gossip. The two were pictured on a boat, alongside Maverick Carter, with a very specific caption accompanying the photo.

“The summer of 2025 is the perfect time to make big plans for the fall of 2026,” read the post.

This is a very open-ended statement with no definitive meaning attached to it. However, many are choosing to read between the lines in relation to James’ future in the NBA.

Could LeBron James’ future be in Denver?

Imagining LeBron wearing a Nuggets jersey is an odd visual. When considering the recent playoff history between Denver and the Los Angeles Lakers, it just feels wrong.

So, why are people working on the photoshop jobs of James as we speak?

Well, the four-time NBA champion is set to have his contract expire during the 2026 offseason. That connects well to the message of ‘making plans’ alluded to above.

The Nuggets certainly do not have the big-time money to offer James in free agency. Any sort of union would involve the four-time NBA Finals MVP taking a massive pay cut to play in the Mile High City.

Is it impossible? Probably not. Is it improbable? Yes.

This is exactly the type of moment that gets covered way more than it should at this stage of the offseason. However, it is almost August so people’s minds cannot help but run a little wild with the possible scenarios.
