Lakers’ NBA 2K26 Ratings Reportedly Leaked: LeBron James, Luka Doncic Tied On Top, Starting Line-up Rated 80+ originally appeared on Fadeaway World.
A little over a month remains in the highly anticipated release of NBA 2K26, the official video game of the league. According to the website 2kratings.com, the player ratings have reportedly been leaked. While the website does not claim these are official ratings, they are usually very accurate with their information.
As per their overview of the Lakers, here’s what the roster’s overall ratings would look like:
1. LeBron James: 96
2. Luka Doncic: 96
3. Austin Reaves: 87
4. Deandre Ayton: 83
5. Rui Hachimura: 81
6. Marcus Smart: 79
7. Jaxson Hayes: 78
8. Jarred Vanderbilt: 77
9. Gabe Vincent: 77
10. Dalton Knecht: 77
11. Jake LaRavia: 76
12. Maxi Kleber: 72
13. Christian Koloko: 72
14. Bronny James: 68
The Lakers’ rookie Adou Thiero, alongside the other two-way contract signings Eric Dixon and Chris Manon, have been excluded from this list as the website had no information on these players.
These ratings were posted on social media by several media aggregators, and fans were surprised to see how generous the game has been towards the Lakers. They expressed their opinions in the comments section. Most of them were directed at Austin Reaves, some at LeBron James as well.
“Am I crazy for thinking Reaves is too high?”
“Wasn’t 30 ppg all-star Bradley Beal like an 89-90 for 3 years?? How tf is Austin Reaves an 87?”
“If Austin Reaves is an 87, then Tyler Herro should be a 94.”
“No way LeBron still should be 96. And I think Reeves is 82-83.”
“Ngl, bron should be like one or two lower.”
“What the HELL has Gabe Vincent done to be the same overall as Dalton Knecht?”
“Look at me with a straight face and tell me Luka Doncic deserves to be the same overall as LeBron James.”
Some striking observations upon further analysing the website’s other available ratings:
– Jake LaRavia, their new acquisition, and Luka Doncic have the same ratings for three-point shooting and lead the team in that skill with an 86 rating. Therefore, according to the game, they both have the same abilities from beyond the arc. Doncic has never shot above 40% from beyond the arc for a season, nor has LaRavia. But Rui Hachimura, who has been doing that for the past two seasons, is rated second as per the game in the team’s ratings with an 85.
– LeBron James had an 89 rating for dunks at age 41. He was the only player last season who did not miss a single dunk with over 50 attempts in the season (71 of 71). It is still unbelievable to see LeBron James perform at an athletic pinnacle like this at his age.
