While many already have Notre Dame football’s rivalry game against USC circled on their calendar, Saturday gave many of us even more hatred towards the Trojans.
Earlier in the offseason, one of the Irish’s biggest rivals stole away general manager Chad Bowen, and now safety Kennedy Urlacher will join him in Los Angeles. The two teams have consistently battled against each other on-and-off the field, and that once again happened.
Urlacher has plenty of potential, but couldn’t crack the rotation for the Irish during the spring which most likely led to him deciding to leave the program. There aren’t many other schools that would make Notre Dame fans angry about a player leaving, but this one hits differently.
Expect a war on Oct. 18th, that will mean plenty for both sidelines, personally and nationally.
Ex-Notre Dame safety Kennedy Urlacher is in fact set to transfer to USC, sources tell @CBSSports/@247Sports.
Urlacher, the son of NFL Hall of Fame linebacker Brian Urlacher, had 12 tackles as a freshman at Notre Dame last season.https://t.co/10Sz3YwNKghttps://t.co/hq35VhOaMqpic.twitter.com/vNlr5jwaW3
