Justin Tucker suspended 10 games for violating NFL's personal conduct policy

The NFL announced Thursday it had suspended free agent kicker Justin Tucker for the first 10 weeks of the 2025 season for violating the league’s personal conduct policy.

Tucker’s suspension comes after the former Baltimore Ravens kicker was accused of sexual misconduct by several women. The kicker has denied the allegations and expressed his “disappointment with the NFL’s decision” in a statement from his representative, Rob Roche.

“Justin has always strived to carry himself in a way that would make his family and community proud,” the statement read, per ESPN’s Adam Schefter. “He stands by his previous statements.  In order to put this difficult episode behind him and get back on the field as soon as possible, we have advised Justin to accept this resolution and close this matter.

“The people who know Justin best know his character and understand that while he remains fully committed to excellence as a football player, he is deeply dedicated to his most important lifetime roles as a father, husband, and friend.”

Tucker’s suspension will run from roster cutdown day on Aug. 26 through Nov. 11, when he will be eligible for reinstatement.

The NFL clarified Tucker will be able to serve his suspension “while not being under contract with a club.” If he is signed during the offseason, he is allowed to participate in training camp and preseason games.
